For one Hopfest is just around the corner. It starts Friday, September 9th and runs through the end of the weekend. The cooler is filling up with delicious hoppy goodness. The image above is one of the possible t shirt logos for this year. As we have in past years there will be a special menu, we will be serving Frog legs, Kangaroo, and Rabbit, hoppy animals to compliment the hoppy beers.
Thursday, October 6th we are having a Bayern Brewing night starting at 6pm. The brewery will be bringing in 5 beers in wooden casks and tapping them on the bar top. The beers pouring will be Dopplebock, Dark Hefe, Pils, Oktoberfest, and Amber.
Wednesday, October 12th Washington Beer Fest. We will be replacing all of our taps with Washington Beers. More info to come.
Attention, Attention!!!”I already tried that” , (you haven’t), “Give me something new!!!” (no problem) and “What would you drink?” (This One) People…. Brouwer’s Cafe will be tapping the only two kegs from the Evil Twin Brewery that came to Washington State. We will have: Soft Dookie Imperial Stout Before, During and After Christmas Imperial IPA In addition we will be offering Yin and Yang a blended black and tan that is sure to make you say Holy Crap!!! All of these beers are rare and I can say most of you have never had them. So come on down on Sunday, we will be tapping them at 6pm.
Seattle Beer Week is upon us! It starts in just 2 days. Are you ready? Have you been training your liver? We have many, many events plannned…Starting with Kulture Freaks, brought to you by Shmaltz Brewing, on Friday, May 20th. This is the third year that Donny Vomit will be here to meet all your Freak Show needs. Show starts around 10. Back in Black Stout Fest courtesy of Underberg, Saturday, May 21st, starts when the doors open. Look for Green Flash Silva Stout, Hair of the Dog Matt, Fremont Kentucky Dark Star, Hales Machete, HUB Brouwer’s 6th Anniversary and many more.

Monday, May 23rd, We will be closing at 3pm for the The Firestone Walker and Sean Paxton Dinner. Tickets are going fast and available through Brown Paper Tickets. Dinner starts at 6pm.
Tuesday, May 24th, It’s the Beer and Burger Battle. Fremont, HUB, Port/ Lost Abbey, Skagit River and Sierra Nevada battle for beer and burger supremacy. Event starts at 6pm. Wednesday, May 25th, Hopworks Urban Brewing teams up with Brewing up Cocktails for a special event exploring the art of crafting unique and original cocktails with craft beer as a prime ingredient. Brewing up Cocktails mixologists will present a special menu highlighting various Hopworks beers and premium spirits. Hopworks beers will also be available standalone on draft.
Thursday, May 26th Sour Fest…Sour Beers all day long. Friday, May 27, we breath for the first time in a bit…
Saturday May 28th, Industry Vinyl Night with Ben Love from HUB and Jamie Mastin from New Belgium…These two bring in their records and turntables.

Adults will converge for a weekend of on site indulgence, lifestyle vendors, cigar retailers, fine cuisine, Pacific Northwest wine sampling, premium spirits sampling with a large portion of all of these elements hailing from right here in the Pacific Northwest. Your entry gets you a Cigar, 2 hours of unlimited Scotch Tasting and a Food from a Buffet. This is a not to be missed event.
In other news HUB is brewing a Big Bad Imperial Oatmeal Stout in honor of our 6th Anniversary, that according to the gentleman above will “have the body of Robitussin.” We can’t wait.!!! This beer will be released Friday, April 15th at 6pm. Come out and celebrate our 6th Anniversary with us.
FEB 23 3-6PM Happy Hour with Rob Tod, Founder of Allagash Brewery. Come drink White, Curieux, Black, Hugh Malone. Also, (hopefully if it arrives in time) taste both versions of Vrienden (one brewed in CO the other in ME). Each used same ingredients but did their own twists. New Belgium family is also rumored to be in attendance. Good times. See you there.
We have an action packed Month ahead of us. First up, Wednesday July 15th, put on your Canadian Tuxedo and come out and celebrate with Oh Canada night. Food and Beer inspired by our friends to the North.
On Monday July 20th our neighbors from the Fremont Outdoor Cinemas will be celebrating “the Dude” by showing the Big Lebowsky as part of The Lebowsky Fest. Come on in for a Caucasian or two…

Then on Saturday August 8th the celebration of all things bike rolls in to town with New Belgiums Tour De Fat. We will be in attendance with a limited number of spoke cards that will entitle you to a free New Belgium beer here at the after party. After spending the day at Gasworks park and trading your car for a bike, roll on over for Gold Sprints (think head to head, man to man all out sprints on track bikes), a band and drink specials.
